Many things have happened over the past 5 years in Club Penguin and as Club Penguin’s age grows on More And More things will unfold too. Many of the photos used are very old. Introduction of Club Penguin.

Penguin chat.

We start off  when Club Penguin wasn’t known as Club Penguin. Before Club Penguin came into action there was a little game called Penguin Chat that was developed by RocketSnail or as he is now known as, Rnsail. In the game Penguin Chat, there were three rooms. The three rooms consisted of, The coffee shop, The dance club, and the boiler room.

As you may of noticed, The Dance Club looks remarkably similar to the Night club Club Penguin has now. Club Penguin have Basically updated the older looking Penguin Chat rooms for Club Penguin. You may be wondering where did Penguins buy clothes..? Well in fact Players from Penguin Chat could buy items from a store but only Penguin Chat Merchandise was sold.

As time on Penguin Chat Progressed, Penguin Chat began adding more rooms like the snow forts and a construction site. Around this time, Penguin Chat began using Beta testers to test out all of the new rooms and areas on the New coming game, Club penguin.

Then finally on the Well remembered date of October 25, 2005, Club Penguin as we know it was officially launched and Penguin Chat was never to be seen again.

Now here is the actual Homepage used for the opening of Club Penguin 5 years ago.

October 2005

Club Penguin is released

It was October 25th 2005, Club Penguin was officially released to the public. Hundreds of people joined and made accounts. Children were going crazy trying to log onto the servers, A important day in Club Penguin History was made.

Beta test Party (2005)

On the same day, the first ever Party on Club Penguin Occurred on the date 25th October 2005, This Party was called the Beta Test Party, where the first in became Beta testers and tested the New Club Penguin Game. This party occurred for 2 hours in the town. Beta testers there received the legendary Beta hat.

First Halloween Party (2005)

October 31st 2005,

6 days later the first Halloween Party Occurred,

Halloween Party

The Halloween was a huge success and tonnes of Penguins had fun scaring each other!

November 2005

Server Testing (2005)

In the month on November 2005, Club Penguin held there first server testing party, In this party Penguins tested the servers on Club Penguin and were awarded with the Rare Black and Pink Toques.

The server Party was not as such a party more of a community gathering and This is the reason those Toques are so rare.

Sport’s shop was opened (2005)

On November 16th 2005, Club Penguin opened the well known sport’s shop or also know as the Winter sport’s Shop.

It was a awesome place, only to be closed on May 23rd 2010.

Puffles were Discovered (2005)

In the month of November 2005,

The furry balls of Fluff called Puffles were discovered.

There were many different ideas of what Puffles should look like, but Club Penguin chose the well known one we still have today.

December 2005

First Christmas party (2005)

Late December,

The time was near Christmas in Club Penguin, Club Penguin Families putting up there Christmas trees in there warm igloos. Club Penguin was just about to Have there very First Christmas Party.

Christmas Party

The Skating rink during the Christmas Party.

In the 2005 Christmas party, There were not many decorations, as Club Penguin was running low on staff and had many bugs to fix. In result of this Club Penguin lacked in decorations at the 2005 Christmas party. These items were given out for free at this party : Santa Hat, Christmas Scarf

We have now moved out of the wonderful year of 2005 and into the new exciting year of 2006… what will it behold?

2006

January 2006

Winter Luau party (2006)

The month was January and the year was 2006.

Club Penguin has just released the Winter Luau party of 2006 and it is going great. Hawaiian lei’s were given out as gifts.

Not knowing in the next few years of Club Penguin, These lei’s would become a extremely rare and sought after item in Club Penguin.

February 2006

Valentine’s Day party (2006)

The Valentines party of 2006 occurred in the month of February. The Valentines Party is a forgotten party and is not included in the Club Penguin year books.

It was a short but sweet party. These items were given out: Red Sunglasses, Bow tie

Plaza was completed and Pizza Parlour was opened to the public (2006)

In February 2006 the Club Penguin Plaza was completed and the Pizza Parlour was opened to penguins.

The Pizza Apron was given out here.

The Pizza Parlour is still going fine and Penguins regularly eat out for dinner there.

March 2006

ST Patrick’s Day (2006)

Top of the morning to you.

March, 2006 the ST Patricks Party has arrived.

The St. Patrick’s Day Hat was given out free to Penguins at the Party.

Ice Fishing was released (2006)

The well known game Ice fishing was released for penguins to play and earn money.

This game is still available to play at the Lodge.

First Pin Released (2006)

During the time of the St Patrick’s Day the First pin was released.

This pin was the well known Shamrock, this is the rarest pin in Club Penguin.

This is a huge time in Club Penguin history. Pins are still Available every 2 weeks

April 2006

April Fools Day Party (2006)

April 2006,  was the month of the April Fools Party in Club Penguin and the weirdest things happened.

The Red propeller Hat was released and given away at the time.

Easter Party (2006)

Easter arrived, it was April 2006 and Club Penguin released the Easter Party. In the Easter party Club Penguin set up an Easter egg hunt.

These Pink Bunny ears were given out free during the party.

The Club Penguin Easter party was really fun as there was the egg hunt.

Puffle Furniture was released

Also during this time the Furniture for Puffles was released.

Puffle Furniture is still sold everyday to new Puffle buyers!

May 2006

Mine Cave opening Party (2006)

Hello it was the month of May in 2006. Wow was this month was huge because the legendary mine opened to penguins who wanted to explore! During the Mine party helmets were given out for penguins to wear and dig with.

Boiler room opening

Penguins won’t forget when the Club Penguin Boiler room opened for the first time.

And lets not forget about Aunt Arctic,

It was this month of the year where Club Penguins Aunt Arctic who is the Writer at The Club Penguin Times wrote her first article!

This month was very big as lots happened during it.

June 2006

The Great Summer party and Cart Surfer was released (2006)

June 2006, The Great summer party occurred. Hundreds of Penguins got dressed in to bikinis and swim suits and relaxed down at the beach. The Blue Hawaiian Lei, Water Wings, Inflatable Duck, and the whistle were given out as gifts.

Cart Surfer is Released

It was this time of the month when the Most played game Cart Surfer was released, Thousands of penguins got flipping and grinding in Mine carts and at the same time earning money from the best paying game in Club Penguin.

This Month was great and a lot happened.

July 2006

Wild West Party (2006)

July 6, 2006 the Wild West Party was Opened for Penguins to enjoy. During this Party a red bandanna was given out for penguins to keep. The Penguin Band attended and gave out signed Backgrounds.

The party went till July 14, 2006.

August 2006

Sport’s Party (2006)

This Party Started August 4th 2006 and was extended to the date of August 19th. The Red and blue face paint was given for free and the rare Skates were also given away too.

Pool was brought back

If you don’t remember the Pool was taken away for a period of time and Only the Club Penguin creators know why. But it was this month which it arrived back to Club Penguin. People still use this pool and usually turns green at Halloween time.

Purple Puffle discovered

It was also this time of month were members of Club Penguin discovered the Purple Puffle around Club Penguin.

This was also another big month in Club Penguin History.

September 2006

The Lighthouse was built

September 22nd Club Penguin released the Light house, Penguins searched the island day and night for the missing Light Bulb. During this party the Red Sailor’s Cap, Lighthouse Shirt was given out for free.

What an awesome party.

50th issue of The Penguin Times was released

There are No known pictures of 50th issue so i got 49th.

Puffles could be walked

Also at this time Penguins found out that they could walk there Puffles.

This month was Cram Packed with awesome Features in Club Penguin.

October 2006

Rockhopper’s First Arrival

It was October 13th 2006 and a Black Bearded, Red Penguin arrived on a huge ship at the beach, everyone was curious who he was.. It turns out his name was Rock hopper! He even brought a little Eye Patch as a present for everyone!

Rockhopper still visits the Island for many parties And is easily the Most famous Penguin in Club Penguin.

Club Penguin’s First Birthday

October 24th 2006, was the day when Club Penguin had it’s First Birthday. Thousands of Penguins Flocked the Town to To try get a Glimpse of the Cake.

A Blue and Green Party hat Was Given as a free Gift.

First Halloween Party

October 24th, The First Halloween Party was released, Penguins from all around the world dressed up in Spooky Costumes and explored the Haunted house and other Special rooms

A Wizard hat was given as a free gift at this party.

November 2006

Lime Green Color Party

November 22nd was a important date in Club Penguin History. The Color Lime Green was released. A small party occurred for members at the dojo. Members received A lime green cape and Access to the Color.

A poll in the Newspaper asked what color would Penguins like, Lavender or Lime Green. Lime Green Won. In December 2007 the Color was available to all players for 20 coins.

December 2006

December 18th, Club Penguin released their Second Christmas Party. The Town was iced over and a Big Christmas Tree was placed in the Middle of the plaza

A Santa Beard and Santa Hat was given away to Players.

2007

January 2007

Winter Fiesta Party

January 18th, Club Penguin’s First Party of 2007. A Winter Fiesta Party was released to celebrate Winter.

A Pair of Maracas was released for Penguins to get. These Maracas are now very Rare.

February 2007

Festival of Snow

February 9th, Club Penguin released the Festival of Snow instead of The Valentines Party. The Snow was Left over from the Christmas Party and was stored in the Ski Lodge and kept Frozen By Gary’s Invention, the AC3000

Ice Crowns and Snow Shirts were given out as presents.

March 2007

Saint Patrick’s Day Party

March 17th, Club Penguin releases the Saint Patrick’s Day Party. Shamrocks were Placed Everywhere in the Green Colored Land of Club Penguin.

The 2006 Leprechaun Hat was released once again as a free gift, Even the Penguin Band Arrived to play.

April 2007

April Fool’s Day Party

April 1st 2007, Club Penguin Releases the April Fool’s Day Party. Penguins are Tricked and Confused by all the Boxes Placed around the Island, Also the Dojo was a Sketch

No items were given away at this Party.

Easter Egg Hunt Party

Club Penguin Released the Easter Egg Hunt as a yearly Tradition. Penguins have to Find Eggs Around the Island.

Players who find all the eggs received Bunny Ears.

Pirate Party

April 27th, This Was Club Penguins first Pirate Party, Rockhopper arrived at the Party. The Party was accidentally released 5 hours ahead of time.

Rockhopper Brought rare items for us to enjoy.

May 2007

Cove Opening Party

May 25th, Club Penguin releases the Cove for us to enjoy, A small party for Members was released to celebrate the opening of the Cove

Once the Party was over, a Whistle was found in the Forest and Players got to keep it. Catchin’ Waves was released about 2 months later.

June 2007

Summer Kickoff Party

June 8th, Club Penguin releases the Summer Kickoff Party, This Party was Huge and Many Penguins Attended

Green Sunglasses and a Ice cream Apron was given away free to the Party goers.
